DIY: Beachy Easter Buckets
We live at the beach! While I love how beautiful delicate Easter baskets look, my kids really need new beach toys. So I wanted to share with you a simple DIY for creating your own personalized Easter baskets buckets.
Here’s what you’ll need:
Beach Buckets (any size you desire)
Stencils (I like Martha’s Stewart’s)
Elmer’s Paint Pen
Items of your choosing to fill your buckets
I started first by stenciling the little sailboats on using the Elmer’s paint pen on each large bucket. Then I stenciled on their names. I got all my beach toys / art supplies at Michael’s while shopping for another project. The paint pen is really easy to use and dries quickly.
After that I filled it with beach toys:
Paints & rollers (my boys love to paint, I guess the apples don’t fall far from the tree):
And a chocolate bunny and gummy candy from Trader Joe’s. I didn’t want my kids to load up on candy this year:
And in less than 5 minutes my little Easter goodies were ready. I think the boys are going to love them and I love that they are personalized as we’re always loosing our beach toys on Minot Beach. Happy Easter everyone!
If you’re local maybe we’ll see you at the Easter Egg Hunt at Widow’s Walk this Saturday at 10am.
SO cute! I love personalized items for kiddies!
Thanks. They loved them 🙂
a really cute idea! much better than tons of chocolate!! i always liked giving my kids something they could be creative with when they were little. the paint rollers look like fun & love the way you stencilled the buckets.

Thank you for the inside information. 🙂
I’m definately going to get one of those pens and a package of those stencils. I love monogrammed anything!
Isn’t Paige related to someone in Scituate. Is it your husband?
I remember her saying that last year on her blog and that she visited a cousin in Scituate and she also went to a cousin’s restaurant in Plymouth. You never know it’s a small world. 🙂
