A Free Printable and a Meaningful Home

First of all, Happy Monday!  I know I usually share furniture on Monday’s but today we’re going to mix it up!  I’m actually over at Jenna’s blog, SAS Interiors sharing my thoughts on a Creating a Meaningful Home – click here.

This subject is so close to my heart.  I will not bring something into my home unless it feels like a treasured piece or something we’re in love with.  Now, you all know me.  I may fall in love with a piece of junk (well, is that the right way of saying it?!?).  I may fall in love with something who’s beauty isn’t apparent yet. But usually once I’m done with it Luke agrees, “It was a treasure”.

Like our sunroom chairs:

Or our sunroom table:

I’ll be sharing the makeover of these later this week.  I know you saw the reveal here.

To me Creating a Meaningful Home means:

“We love that our belongings honor where we are from and where we have been. Our home houses our story.”

Lots of painted furniture

Treasures from the beach & the garden

Ball Jar of Hydrangea

Space to relax

Room to play and let loose

Oh, and one last thing…

A Meaningful Home is Not Perfect

(you may be too scared to actually live in it if it was!)

With this in mind I created this free printable for you:

I hope you enjoy it (click on the image to download) and please stop by and visit on Jenna’s blog!
