Easy Decoupaged Eggs
Can you believe Easter is just around the corner?
It snuck up on me this year. I’ve wanted to decoupage eggs for quite some time and on our last trip to Target I found some awesome wooden eggs and I remembered how much I wanted to decoupage.
Well, I guess you could do this with hardboiled eggs too, but I kind of like my crafts to last 😉
I’m really smitten with how cute these eggs came out.
I did three different ones:

Easy Decoupaged Eggs
Materials
- Wooden Eggs from Target
- Fusion Mineral Paint in Picket White
- Mod Podge
- Foam Brush
- Printables from Graphics Fairy
- Scissors
- Decoupage Brush
Method
Paint your eggs with paint. This white was perfect to give the white egg look I wanted but you could use any paint you’d like. I did two coats, allowing to dry between coats.
I actually used the tray they came in to place the eggs while painting. Print off some printables on your printer or use images from magazines. I used these from The Graphics Fairy. They are already the perfect size.
Carefully cut out your pictures and apply Mod Podge to the back of the paper. Press your paper down onto the egg. Seal and coat with three additional coats of Mod Podge. Allow to dry.
That’s it!
Now you’re ready to enjoy to enjoy your beautiful decoupaged eggs!
They make the perfect addition to your Easter place setting. I used the wooden egg holders from Target and put them on my white plates.
I hope you’ll try these at home. They’re fun and easy!
