Pretty Pillows
I partnered with my friends at Minted for this post. I think you’re gonna love their new pillows!
Okay, I have a weakness for pillows. I admit it. My husband actually thinks our pillows multiply in the linen closet.
They are my “go to” when I want to instantly change the look or feeling in a room. Often times I switch pillows out with the season or I move them about my home, from room to room.

You may remember in our Spring Home Tour I had white linen pillows on the couch, but I replaced them with these gorgeous pillows by Minted. The style is called Painterly Ikat and it is hand painted by Aletha & Ruth. These are navy blue on a cream background.
You all know I love blue and white (particularly together) and these are so crisp and elegant with our white walls and dark brown leather chesterfield.
They look beautiful with tulips too!
You may recognize this pattern as I also have it in slate.
Do you remember these from our home tour the other week?
The same pattern but gives a completely different look in a different color on a white chair.
The pillows themselves are so comfy and the covers even come with gorgeous inserts. We all love them!
Oh, yes, even my boys! Their playroom (which I don’t often share) got a little pillow makeover 😉 The pillows and cushions in here were old and tired. I thought grays and whites would be a perfect way to refresh the space and also make it a bit more grown up.
Their daybed is from Ikea and the duvet cover is also Ikea. The daybed was Conor’s bed in our first home and is perfect for their playroom. It also doubles as spare bed in case we need it for additional company.
I opted for a few different pillows for this room. I knew instantly that my boys would love the Whale of a Time pillow by Shirley Lin Shneider. I was right! It is such whismical design and perfect for my little beach boys. I got these in large square pillows 24 x 24 and the lumber pillows.
You can see the African Tribal by Oma N. Ramkhelawan here in front of Conor. I ordered this in cloud. The pattern is so lovely against the more organic whales and narwhals.
I also opted for a feather pillow in this room too. The Painted Feathers Pillow by Jill Means. My kids love birds and looking for gulls’ feathers on the beach so this pillow reminded me of that.
We’re all LOVING our new cushions. So comfy and just our style. I think you’ll be impressed by the selection of pillows over on Minted’s site. They also have lovely curtains, table linens and lamp shades. All orders are custom made.
We’re pretty happy and cozy over here and loving our pillow addiction.
What do you think of our new pillows?

i love all of their pillows as well and love your choices!
I totally agree that pillows can transform a room -love your blue and white! Happy Wednesday!
Your new pillows look fabulous! I enjoy switching out pillows from room to room too but lately I have been purchasing more with outdoor fabrics to make for easier cleaning with four dogs in the house. With new pillows from Minted I would definitely be closing some doors and trying to keep everyone off them!
great choices! love those blue pillow covers!
He is so sweet with his plushie. 🙂
Pretty blue pillow and I liked even more, the whales ones.
Love the whale and feather pillows! Had no idea Minted offered pillows but will check them out. I’m a bit of a pillow addict myself.
What a beautiful collection! I agree, I love the way new pillows can just instantly change the look of a room. Scott is the same as your hubs about our pillow collection 🙂
