Upcoming eBook and Open Studio
Today I have some excited news, especially for the painted furniture enthusiasts!
Painted Furniture e-Book
As many of you know, I’ve been working on a Painted Furniture Book for a good year now. Some days / weeks were so slow going with the boys home but I’m almost finished. I’m laying the book out now and really excited about all the information I’ve packed into it. This book ranges from First Timer to Advanced Painter. I share my tips, tricks and the products I love with loads of pictures. I hate when cook books don’t have photos so this book has LOTS!
I’m also thinking of adding a Facebook group as part of the book where people can post questions or projects. Let me know if this is something that would interest you, either commenting here or sending me an email.
I will of course announce the e-Book on the blog when it’s available for purchase but if you want to be added to the email list go here:
Open Studio This Spring!
I haven’t done an Open Studio here at the house for two years. You can see highlights from my last one here. You might remember last year we did the Duxbury Show and the Vintage Bazaar instead. Both were fun and great learning experiences, but with busy boys and a busy husband it is easier for me to showcase my work in my home and local stores.
This spring in New England has felt more like winter (sigh), so I’ll keep you posted on the Open Studio date. I will blog about it, but if you’d like to be added to a mailing list for Open Studios:
Stay tuned and watch your inboxes for more information. I’m so excited!
Love how respectful you are of your readers, asking for interest and updates. Your gentleness shines through and keeps your readers looking forward to your next post.
Blessings,
Shelley

I would love it if you did a Facebook group, I’d certainly join if you decided to do so. Look forward to your book.
Take care.
Thank you, Janet! I’m looking forward to sharing it with you. Glad you like the idea of a Facebook group. I thought it would be a fun a positive environment to share. xx
I am very interested in a Facebook group…anything you do! I’m just getting started on this path but have done decorating homes and some painting of furniture the “old” way! I love shabby-chic and am now starting on some antique chairs for my dining/kitchen area in my tiny apartment! I LOVE the work you do!
Thank you
Thank you so much, Jan. I’m so honored that you enjoy my work. Your chairs sound lovely. xx Glad you like the idea of a FB group. It’s gonna be fun. xx
