Pretty Pumpkin Fall Tablescape
Inspired by gorgeous heirloom pumpkins I found at our local fruit center I’m sharing a pretty pumpkin fall tablescape
I’m taking part in a fall tablescape tour today hosted by my friend Alicia over at A Burst of Beautiful.
This is our first fall with this dining table. My husband built it last spring from reclaimed heart pine and salvage barley twist legs. I dreamed of an English farmhouse table to match our English Welsh dresser.
The other week, I shared a fall tablescape with apples. You can see that here.
As you can see, I moved the apples to the dresser in bowls and on shelves.
I really like to keep our decor simple because I love for the focus to be on a feeling of a space and the moments we’re sharing rather than just lots of stuff.
The warm heart pine is such a nice grounding point for the table. I layered on two Ikea tea towels. They are slightly rumpled but I like that look. I did throw them in the dryer to get most of the wrinkles out. Then I layered on some eucalyptus and other greenery.
Next I added three different shaped heirloom pumpkins, a few mini white pumpkins, thriftstore brass candlesticks with long tapers, a few more candles and some pine cones and faux acorns.
I also added a few white hydrangeas to pick up my white ironstone and white chairs.
I think in total it took my 10 minutes to create this look.
Here’s a look at the entire dining room:
Do you think you’ll give this simple pumpkin tablescape a try?
