21 Entertaining Ideas for Thanksgiving
Hosting turkey day this year?!? If so, I have 21 entertaining ideas for Thanksgiving.
Here’s the thing. I LOVE entertaining. I LOVE having people over. BUT I hate stressing out about cleaning the house or having to do big elaborate things. I’m going to share no fuss and easy tablescape ideas with you so you can actually enjoy Thanksgiving.
Thanksgiving is a favorite holiday in our home. It is very informal. It’s my mom’s and husband’s absolute favorite. It really is the only holiday that celebrates good food, family, and being grateful for what we have.
I remember my very first Thanksgiving as a mom. We had a house full of guests coming and I realized maybe we didn’t order a big enough turkey. I pushed John’s stroller to Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods and fought lines of people. I remember being so tired and it wasn’t even Thanksgiving. So, now I pick the turkey up on Tuesday. Prep on Wednesday (including setting the table) and pick up any last minute things that day. So on Thursday we can enjoy a lovely meal together.

Danielle I love your Thanksgiving printable and want to use the blank version and type the prayer we will say at our dinner. I don’t know how to do that as it seems I can’t type on the printable before printing it. Thank you for sharing your beautiful art!
Hi Becky, so glad you like the printable. You should be able to download the printable and open in word or photoshop to add your text. Hope that helps. Wishing you and your family a blessed Thanksgiving! xx
The only thing that I can do is open it in Preview. I am sorry, but I have not had difficulty with your wonderful printables before. I’ll keep trying.
I’m so sorry you’re having issues. You can use photoshop to create text in it. If you download it and then open in photoshop you can add a text box and font / size you like. Or you can also open a Google Drawing and insert it in and add text. I hope that helps!
Nice ideas, i pinned them so i can come back and look, right now i am cooking but, by wed. i will start thinking about my table. Thanks and have a great day.
Happy cooking and Happy (early) Thanksgiving! xx

Oh wow, there are so many great ideas shared here for both Thanksgiving and the holidays. I’m swooning over those wine bottle candle holders!
Everything is beautiful but I particularly love #10 with the hydrangeas and white pumpkins. My mother’s china is white with a green pattern and silver edges. That would be a beautiful centerpiece for me to copy!
Thank you! Your mom’s china sounds lovely, Karen. xx
