I have a fun little before and after for you today. When I found this little nightstand it was in need of some Annie Sloan Chalk Paint:

Luke repaired that little hole and the hardware wasn’t in great condition (and on upside down) so I decided to paint it:

I mixed, in equal parts, Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Paris Grey and Aubusson blue and got the most lovely grey blue color.

Once it was painted I took a wet paper towel to distress certain areas. This is a great trick with ASCP rather than using sand paper:

I did two coats of clear wax to seal it and here’s how it came out:

It looks great with the Pottery Barn Kids bedding in Conor’s room, but I’ve decided to bring it down to my space in Plymouth at Main Street Antiques so another little boy can enjoy it.
