Thanksgiving Free Printable

A floral Thanksgiving Free Printable for your table! I know everyone is really busy getting ready for Thanksgiving AND more holidays in December so this is going to be a super quick post.

I created a little free printable as a gift for you!

Thanksgiving is such a special time to gather with loved ones and it truly is one of our favorite holidays. We love that it centers around food and just being grateful for loved ones and sharing a really great meal together. I plan on using these menus on our table so thought I’d share it with you all as well. I created a blank menu for you and you can write the menu on it or use Snell Roundhand font like I did or another font you’d like.

Painting the Florals

I really enjoyed the process of painting the florals. I tried a new technique I learned in this skillshare class. It took me a little while to get the hang of it as I’d never used the Beste Fountain brushes, but here’s a peek at the process. I tried it with white gouache on some colored papers. I used undersea green which is in this palette of watercolors for the leaves.

Then I tried some on Canson watercolor paper and used pinks and corals custom mixing colors.

I ended up using the flowers in the middle sheet. The 3rd attempt on the menu.

Here’s how the menu looks. I tried it out on our dining table:

I paired it with my Cornishware plates, block print napkins, and hammered flatware. I just thought the colors looked so pretty with the fuchsias and pale pinks.

Simple but ready for you to put your own spin on it!

Simply download the menu here.

I’ve sized it as a 5″x7″ and you may want to print it on card stock. The font I used for “Menu” is snell round hand. I typed out our menu and you can add your menu in the blank space provided.
