A Visit to Minot Candles Studio
Want to come on a visit to Minot Candles‘ Studio with me?
Minot Candle studio is located in Hull right on the water. It is GORGEOUS. I thought you might want to join in on the launch festivities for Kerry’s newest candle – Daybreak.

Kerry is such a lovely person and I’m a HUGE fan of Minot Candle. I have one in every room of our home. Kerry is offering my readers a forever discount of 10% off when you use the code “DANIELLEFINDING” – shop here.
Daybreak Candle Launch
On August 6th a group of creative women gathered to celebrate Minot’s newest fragrance – Daybreak. The candle is exquisite.
Daybreak is like moody morning light with the fragrance of rose, amber and oud for a smokey bright scent. I’m burning it while I create my newest watercolor collection. Kerry told is it is one of her favorites because of the rose. She loves the scent of rose. It is wonderful!
We enjoyed refreshments on the deck overlooking the glistening Atlantic Ocean.
The weather has been a little inconsistent this summer but this day was a 10 out of 10! Simply perfect!
Would you believe inside the studio is just as beautiful as outside???
Inside the Studio for Lunch
We gathered around a long table for a conversation about creativity and creative entrepreneurship. As many of you know, I believe we’re all creative and I LOVE to hear the creative journey people have taken and that’s what started my writing the Creativity Over Coffee series. Kerry was part of this series – read her Creativity Over Coffee Interview here.
Kerry told us a bit about the origins of Minot that she launched in 2020, during the pandemic, and she really was on quest to find non-toxic candles and everyone was home seeking comfort. We went around the table introducing ourselves and discussing our businesses. I’m actually going to leave a list of everyone who was in attendance because it really was such an interesting group of women, all eager to support one another.
Every aspect of the event was planned by a creative woman –
- Of course, Kerry Kip, hostess and owner of Minot
- Elle of H COLE did the amazing catering. The food was all amazing.
- Daniela Marchione captured the event with these amazing photographs
- Victoria and Amanda founders of Organization Meets Fashion organized and planned the event.
In attendance was:
- Amy Hendy
- Anya Reppucci of Tres Chic Boston
- Christina Keldon of Macaroni Kids South Shore Boston
- Jacci Kokos of Iced Coffee Mom
- Jamie Keeke of Jamie Keefe Interiors
- Jess Collins of Its Jess and Charlie
- Kelley Markella of At Home South Shore
- Kali Branch of KB Designs
- Lindsay Galvin of Linds and Littles
We enjoyed salads topped with pickled shrimp and waffles topped with fried chicken. It was all delicious and so inspiring!
Sometimes creating at home can be lonely and isolating so it was fun and refreshing to be in a group of women eager to support one another.
More of the Studio
I felt like I walked into a very beautifully decorated and calm home. The studio has gorgeous grass cloth wallpaper and so many thoughtful touches in every space. Here’s a peek:
Between the lovely fragrance, the wonderful conversation, the breathtaking views, and the beautiful interiors I didn’t want the day to end…
I hope you enjoyed a visit to Minot Candle Studio and a glimpse at the Daybreak Launch. It was so very lovely.
