Hi lovely readers! Hope you had a fantastic weekend. We ate far too much Chinese and went for many walks in the woods. Okay, I know, it isn’t even Thanksgiving and I’m talking about Christmas, but this is for a really good cause.
I’m so excited because I’m taking part in Scituate Rocks Craft Sale and I’ve been busily making ornaments with German Glitter Glass and other items. I’ll be joining a whole host of crafters and consigners to support a cause that is so close to my heart:
The sale is happening On December 1st from 1-5pm at the Harbor United Methodist Church. It is benefitting Situate Community Christmas. Scituate Community Christmas has been helping local families on the South Shore since 1989, bringing the Christmas spirit to those who are facing economic hardship or other circumstances.
Here’s a sneek peak at some of the items I’ll have with me on the day. A French table in classic Annie Sloan Old White:

A happy crab pillow with black and white ticking stripe on the back:

I am so in love with these Italian matching corbels. This is how they looked before:

and after with some Annie Sloan magic:

I love how Paris Grey and Old Violet have given these beauties a new life. Here’s a close up:

Love the hints of gold and primer red peeking through. They’d look so gorgeous in a dining room!
I’ve also been making some fabric scrap garlands:

and loads of Christmas pillows. Here’s some:

Then there is this Christmas pillow:

I’ll be painting and making my heart out leading up to the event on the first. I hope local friends will pop in to say hi and to support a fantastic cause. Helping others is the true spirit of Christmas and all holidays.
This is Meredith: After Isn’t she quite attractive? She’s French with lovely curves and dovetail drawers. Oh, check out the beautiful brass pulls. Gorgeous. When…
