Beautiful white hydrangea and eucalyptus centerpiece
A fresh look at Thanksgiving with a beautiful white hydrangea and eucalyptus centerpiece.
I wasn’t planning on posting today. I was ready to watch the parade and the dog show and eat copious amounts of turkey, pie, and cranberry relish.
BUT
These flowers are just too pretty not to share.
My friend Gerilyn of GFV Floral Design based here in Scituate, created this stunning arrangement for our Thanksgiving table. I actually won a Thanksgiving package at Scituate Education Foundation’s Seaside Stories. The floral arrangement by Gerilyn was part of the Thanksgiving package:
I told her I wanted something neutral and light, that I didn’t love the usual fall color palette.
When I picked this beautiful arrangement up I was overwhelmed by it’s beauty.
Pale pink (almost white roses), orchids, white hydrangeas, a variety of eucalyptus all look so beautiful and elegant together.
I adore artichokes. My mom always makes me stuffed artichokes, so I laughed when I saw the arrangements. Placing artichokes in this centerpiece was perfect!
Gerilyn placed it all in a birch vessel and it looks perfectly coastal / farmhouse. I would have shared photos of it in the dining room but it’s been dark and wet so the sunroom had the best light.
I’m so grateful for this gorgeous arrangement – the beautiful flowers and Gerilyn’s time in creating such an exquisite arrangement for our family to enjoy. I hope you enjoyed seeing them, too. I’m also so grateful for each and every one of you who reads the blog. It really means so much to me.
On this day, I’m so thankful for our home, our sweet dogs, our sweet little family, and friends! Wishing you a very Happy Thanksgiving!
Very pretty.
Aren’t these stunning?!? Setting my table now.
Happy thanksgiving! Gorgeous flowers and your photos are wonderful. Enjoy the day…
