Blue and White Brunch Table Setting
A beautiful blue and white brunch table setting. Perfect ideas for Thanksgiving or a festive Sunday brunch.
We all know Thanksgiving is going to look a little bit different this year with smaller more intimate gatherings for families. The other week I shared 7 intimate table settings. I promised I’d share a few more fun and festive ideas leading up to the holiday.
I know everyone has already started decorating for Christmas, but we haven’t here at our house. Thanksgiving is a favorite holiday of my husband and mom.
Today I wanted to share a simple blue and white brunch table setting. I gathered elements I already had on hand – a vintage blue and white flow blue pitcher, candles, linen napkins and some gorgeous flowers from Trader Joe’s.

How to Set the Table for an Elegant Brunch
Mix Plates and Mugs
I mixed together beautiful watercolor style blue and white plates from Anthropolgie with simple white mugs from Ikea. Mixing and matching serving ware adds to an informal and relaxed vibe. I don’t think Anthropologie has these plates any longer but I think this set would look gorgeous.
Flow Blue for Flowers
A vintage Flow Blue pitcher is the perfect vessel for gorgeous sunflowers and fragrant eucalcyptus.
I found this beautiful piece at a thrift store. I love juxtaposing old with new in my home.
The sunflowers really pop next to the flow blue!
Linen Napkins are Timeless
I just bought these beautiful linen napkins the other week. I love the raw edge detail and how linen looks and feels on a table. It’s understated and timeless.
Placing a branch of eucalyptus on each place setting feels very special and thoughtful. I always try and place a branch or ornament, shell, or watercolor to make each place setting feel extra special.
Light Candles Even if the Sun is Out
Candles add so much ambiance to a table. I love these fragrant candles in woven wicker. I mix and match fragrances, too.
You can order my favorites online here.
Decant Coffee Flavored Syrups into Glass
I love using flavor syrups in my coffee but don’t love the bottles they come in. You can decant them to these vintage looking brass and glass bottles which look so pretty on the table.
I have several – this one has pumpkin spice, but I also enjoy hazelnut and vanilla. They look so pretty on our counter when not enjoying brunch.
Serve a Pretty Pumpkin Loaf
This pumpkin bread is delicious and soooooo pretty on a table. I like to use my vintage ironstone scattered with eucalyptus. Get the recipe here and buy the loaf tin here.
You can even serve it sliced so it’s easier for guests to grab.
Here’s a look at the entire table together:
Brunch can include breakfast or lunch foods. It’s great to have several items that you can prep ahead so you don’t have to spend hours in the kitchen.

I absolutely LOVE your ironstone serve ware! Your site is just lovely! Please check your link for the loaf pan. It comes up as Pam cooking spray when I tried it.
Thank you! Blue and white is my favorite color combination. Oh, I’m so sorry about that link. I’ve just updated – here is the link as well: https://amzn.to/2UBB3xu
