Break The Internet

My dear friends, I feel so honored to write this little blog. To be able to chat with you here each day and share our life by the sea. I don’t like conflict, I avoid change wherever possible and, honestly, I’d rather be painting than doing most things. Today, is different. Today I am facing conflict head on and I hope you will too.

I want to make you aware of Break the Internet today.

In two days the FCC will vote about Net Neutrality. So I thought it was important to raise my voice and my concerns.

I’ve shared a few things on social media but thought I needed to share this here with you guys too.  I told some friends the other night and they didn’t know what I was talking about.

What is Net Neutrality?

Net Neutrality = the internet is open

When we search we can access any site, at any speed and we don’t have to pay for extra for it.

Life without Net Neutrality?

Paying for internet

Corporations controlling what you can and what you can’t see

If this passes you will not see my blog posts, others’ blog posts and cable and phone networks will have control over the internet.

This is not the world I want.

Is it what you want?

What can you do?

Join us and raise your voice. You can do this simply by using this open pathway we love so much.

My son just told me about this at dinner tonight. Why I have not heard this on radio or tv is beyond me. Thanks for the post. What on earth are they thinking, and I wonder who “they” are. I’ll do my part.
