Christmas Staircase
Greenery wrapping our banister with fresh eucalyptus makes for a pretty Christmas Staircase.
We refreshed this space a few months ago, if you missed it you can see the full reveal here.

I replaced the umbrellas in the stand for wrapping paper. I still have to wrap all the presents and also buy a few more this week…
We used to have a bench here but love seeing the beautiful carved balustrades of our staircase now. They are so detailed.
On the banister I wound two faux snowy garlands and secured with twine. Then I added fresh silver dollar eucalyptus from Trader Joe’s.
You guys maybe already got a sneak peak on Insta Stories the other week.
I created simple bows using this tutorial. My boys all thought the red plaid was more festive than the gold I was debating between.
When people enter our front door.
This is what they see:
I’ve lined the staircase with faux candles. They’re a mix from Balsam Hill and Michael’s, but you can find similar ones here and here.
The front door has a faux magnolia wreath which I’ve had up since the fall.
I hope this gave you a few ideas to add some simple Christmas decor to your home.

I love your welcoming home decor. Restful. What could we use besides Eucalyptus? I read that it’s toxic for dogs.
Thank you so much, Julie. You can also use fresh evergreen branches. Hope that helps and Merry Christmas! xx
It looks so pretty, i had to pause at the first picture and just take it all in and smile.
Thank you, Marlene, I’m so glad you enjoyed the photo and our front entry. xx Merry Christmas!
