Comfort Underfoot

I have a confession to make.

Remember when Poppy had that little  incident with the skunk?!?  You remember back in March and we had to rip up the rug in the sunroom and then we did the room over.  Well, Poppy and the wall to wall weren’t the only victims…

The playroom rug and the dining room rug suffered too!  It is a long story but Poppy had to go on medicine to help her mouth heal (as a wound opened up from the skunk spray).  She had to be put on steroids and had many accidents in both of these two rooms.

So we had to get a new rug for the living room and I found the most perfect one at a yard sale here in Scituate.

It truly is a glorious oriental and I know the previous owner had saved and saved to be able to buy this rug for her home. Our previous rug was a little small for the room, but this one is perfect!

The only problem was I didn’t have the right rug pad.  I just had a flimsy one that wasn’t really doing anything and it could have damaged the floor.
