Delicious Pumpkin Dip
A delicious pumpkin dip that’s ready in minutes!
I LOVE pumpkin pie! When we lived in England I used to make it and bring it to work. My boss thought I was so strange for eating squash pie! My mom used to send me boxes and boxes of canned pumpkin. Our youngest is also a big fan! There’s just something about pumpkin, brown sugar and all those autumn spices melded together.
My friend Kate made a delicious pumpkin dip for one of our Scituate Education Foundation gatherings and I couldn’t stop eating it. Oh, my, it was so good. I asked Kate for the recipe and I tweaked it ever so slightly.
It’s that time of year when LOTS is going on. Your rushing here, your rushing there. Oh, and you may have forgotten you send you’d bring a dessert or side dish. Does this sound familiar?
If, so. This recipe is the perfect “in a pinch” dish to bring.
I bet you even have many of the ingredients in the cupboard.

Delicious Pumpkin Dip
Ingredients
- 1/2 C Canned Pumpkin
- 1/3 C Brown Sugar (I used one that has Truvia in it)
- 6 oz Cream Cheese
- 2 Tbls. Maple Syrup
- 2 Teaspoons Cinnamon
- Add additional Autumn Spices – nutmeg, cloves, allspice, ginger (optional)
Method
Step 1 – Soften the cream cheese in the microwave. I think I did 30 seconds, but realize all microwaves are different.
Step 2 – Mix pumpkin, cream cheese, and brown sugar.
Step 3 – Add maple syrup and spices. Stir well. I added A LOT of the optional spices because I think all of those make it taste more like pumpkin pie.
Step 4 – Serve with fresh sliced apples, graham crackers, and ginger biscuits. For serving, I sprinkled extra cinnamon on top.
It tastes like pumpkin pie and is so lovely for dipping most things. Yum!!! I added ginger to mine as we love ginger and I love dipping all the items listed above. This dip is a nice snack for the kids, too.
Oh, another way to serve it is on toast or toasted bagels:
The perfect way to pumpkin spice your morning 😉

This recipe sounds delicious, Danielle! I always buy large packages of assorted crackers to go with my spicy cheeseball for our annual post sleigh ride gathering but half the crackers are sweet and end up not being used. This is a perfect recipe for those sweet crackers! Thank you 🙂 Pinned
