DIY Fall Wreath
A simple grapevine wreath is the perfect base for creating a DIY Fall wreath. Learn to recreate this look in a matter of minutes.
I’m not a huge orange person. I mean I like it, but in small doses. Many of the wreaths I saw locally were very orange. So I thought I’d try and make my own. It was actually more affordable to create this DIY Fall Wreath as many of the elements were on sale at Michaels.
I’m sharing this as part of the Cozy Living Series hosted by my friend Jennifer. You can see more cozy ideas at the bottom of the post.
I took a photo of it in the sunroom so you can see the details better.
I actually have the wreath hanging on our front door and you may have seen it in this post here.
DIY Fall Wreath
Total time 5 minutes
- Gather Your Materials
I used the below grape vine wreath and fall branches and stems along with hot glue. I also used some dried florals and a feather pick.
- Laying Out Design
Before I start I like to lay out my wreath design. I cut the branches down a bit and I actually popped the flower heads off the stems so I could glue them to the wreath.
- Work from the background to foreground
It’s easiest to add the branches first. I secure them into the grapevine wreath. Sometimes I use green floral wire to secure them and add hot glue.
- A-fix Foliage Using Hot Glue
I find it easier to use hot glue to secure everything. It’s quick and easy!
- Remove Glue Strings
Once your wreath is finished before to remove any strings of glue.
- Hang and enjoy your wreath
Enjoy your wreath for fall

For some reason I’m drawn to hues of wine, pinks and purples this year! This is also the first time I’m using the dried lotus pods and I love the texture they add to the wreath.
I love soft feathers and the airy greenery mixed in with the branches.
The nice thing is this wreath will work straight through to Thanksgiving and then I can think about Christmas!
This isn’t a sponsored post but I have to say I was so impressed by how great the prices were and how realistic the faux stems look, especially the Queen Anne’s Lace. All the fall stems were 40% plus I had a coupon for 20% off, so I think I created the wreath for $32.
