We love Halloween at our house and we love coming up with fun costume ideas. Today I’m sharing an easy to create DIY spooky crow costume.

The inspiration for this costume started with the mask. We were shopping at Target one day and John found this mask in the costume section. Click here for the mask.
John, our oldest, always has a flair for the dramatic and loves finding spooky things.
For the wings (his hands) we found black gloves at the Dollar Tree. Then we found various feathers at Michaels. We used hot glue and a glue gun to secure the larger feathers then used smaller feathers to cover the ends of the large feathers.
I found the black turtle neck which he has pulled up over his mouth and the cloak at a thrift store. I couldn’t believe my luck! I think both together cost me $10!!!
You can find similar ones here and here.
We had fun setting up a little photo booth in the sunroom using this white backdrop.
Along with some vintage finds and baby boo pumpkins.
We had so much fun creating this spooky crow costume!
I’m thinking of making myself a feathered eye mask with the leftover feathers.
What do you think of the costume? I hope it gave you some ideas. I’ll be sharing Conor’s costume tomorrow.
