The Duxbury Show – A Preview
Wow! What a week it has been! Phew! John was sick, I was busily getting ready for the Duxbury Show and Poppy, our lovely dog, got sprayed by a skunk. You are so lucky smell-o-vision doesn’t come with this post!
As I type this I’m putting some last minute touches on oars and driftwood sail boats. Dan of Gentleman & Daughter Antiques and I are so very excited to be taking part in our very first antique show.
I shared a few items we’re bringing two weeks ago here. But thought I’d share a few more:
How fantastic is this antique globe, dated 1920-24? I love the muted colors and the iron base:
A pretty mermaid dresser with a crackled effect is making her debut at the show. I’ll share a full before & after post later on. I love how the eggshell crackle over her collarbone:
Fantastic pennants that would look great in a playroom, child’s bedroom or even an office:
A chippy stool:
Caroline will be there:
A fun primitive oil of deer:
The Grantham Bedroom set:
Oh, and of course Jocasta!
I have a few more items up my sleeve and Dan does too but you’ll have to come to show to see them.
Come visit us at Booth 39! The show runs tomorrow, Saturday March 22nd from 10am-5pm and Sunday, March 23rd from 11am-4pm. Hope to see you!
Good luck, Danielle! I’m sure it will be a smashing success!
Good luck Danielle, you’ve got some gorgeous stuff there, I’m sure you’ll do really well !
Have a fantastic show. I predict that Jocasta will be one if the first items to sell. Magnificent piece. Enjoy the experience!
All of your creations are so unique and beautiful, Danielle. What an exciting weekend for you! Good luck and I’ll look forward to hearing about your experience. xo
So many amazing pieces! Wishing you the best at the show…I am sure you will do great!
