Early Spring Vignette
Okay, I realize it really isn’t early spring but in February I start craving spring. Here’s an early spring vignette if you’re craving spring, too.
It’s February vacation week here in Scituate. Many of our friends are away in tropical locations or skiing, but we’re right here…
So I thought it would be fun to play with a little vignette incorporating some warmer weather feels. Last week I shared this sweet little plant and a few others I’m loving.
I know this sounds crazy but I love styling and taking photos of different elements. So I’m going to keep the talking to a minimum and just share some photos with you guys.
I’ve dreamed of adding these glass beads to our decor for years. Then I found them locally so had to bring them home!
Max really can’t ever figure out what I’m doing. I always get these looks:
I thought the candle made it too busy but thought I’d share anyway.
The glasses are my mom’s reading glasses. Many of you may remember I had surgery so no longer need glasses. Speaking of eye surgery, I’m wondering if you’d like to read about my experience with laser eye surgery (I had PRK which is different than Lasik). If you’d like to read more about that just let me know in the comments or email me.
If you guys are off on vacation someplace warm – enjoy! Oh, and please soak up some sunshine for us. I’m counting down the days until summer and beach and pool days.

Max is so cute and what would a vignette be without him! I love those glass beads and your new plant, it hasn’t been too bad here as long as it’s not freezing and the sun is shining i am ok.
Max is my little shadow. He seriously is making that couch cushion sink. Ha! Ha! So glad you like the glass beads and my new plant 😉 LOVE them, too.
Hello….Max looks like he is really saying, “What the heck are you doing?”
Yes, I would like to hear about your eye surgery. I kinda thought you would talk about that, after you had it. I guess it is great for being in the pool!!! Painful???
Hi Josette, I know. Max ALWAYS gives me that look as I’m always moving furniture, painting, making something, or taking photos of it. I often wonder what goes through his mind. Ha! Ha! I was going to write about the surgery right after having it but then my dad got sick and passed away. So I kind of equated the surgery with that very sad time period, but now I can look back on it without crying. Happy to share my experience. Not having to wear glasses or contacts has become such a gift. It always hurt when I got… Read more »
