Fall by the Pool House
The ornamental grasses all have fronds, the sedum is a rosy red, and our window boxes are over-flowing. This is fall by the Pool House.
Before I get too far along in this post, I wanted to thank you all for your very kind words on yesterday’s post. I love hearing from you and I didn’t expect such an outpouring of comments about our pretty seaside town. Scituate is truly a magical place and I love sharing this beautiful town with all of you. If you ever get a chance to visit please let me know. I’d love to meet each and everyone of you.
Well, it was a sad day yesterday, the winter cover for the pool went on, but I snapped these photos before. I thought I’d share how pretty our yard looks in fall.
Come through the pool gate:
We’ve enjoyed the autumn clematis. The fragrance is heavenly and also enjoyed all the butterflies and humming birds that visited our butterfly bush. Look how big it is. Beyond the gate Luke just finished a walkway, but I’ll share that with you in the spring.
Don’t mind Max and Poppy who are running around the yard 😉
I love watching them play:
Do you remember the window box Luke built me in the spring?
It’s now bursting with flowers. I can’t believe how well all the plants did.
Soon we’ll need to put all the outdoor furniture away, but for now we’re enjoying the warm days and the golden sunshine.
I hope you’re all enjoying this beautiful fall weather.
