Fall In New England
Fall in New England is a magical time. I’m excited to share it with you in watercolors.
I’m so excited to be launching a new watercolor note card for fall! The note card is available in singles and sets. I’ve been hard at work painting leaves and branches in the sunroom. If you follow along with the blog then you might recognize one of these leaves. The orangey one at the top. I offered it to you as a free printable the other week, but knew I wanted to do something with all the leaves.
I paint my leaves and acorns rather large and then scale them smaller in photoshop for my stationery.
Here’s a glimpse of the originals:
There’s something I simply love about painting leaves – watching the watercolors flow on the paper, the warm rich hues, and adding intricate veins and slight blemishes. Let me know if you guys would like me to do a little leaf painting tutorial on the blog. It might be fun to celebrate all those beautiful leaves which will soon be changing outside our windows here in New England. If you want to learn about my must have watercolor supplies click here.
The New England in Fall note card is the first of many watercolor products I’ll be launching in the coming weeks. One involves my husband and we’ve been working on it for the past few months. Eeeek! I’m hoping to launch that next weekend. I really can’t wait for you to see everything we’ve been working on behind the scenes. I’m also going to be doing an online open studio which will feature original painting and original bookmarks.
As always with every purchase we make a donation to World Wildlife Fund!
Head on over to the shop to check out this NEW design and all our artwork and note cards. If fall is your favorite you can see all of our fall offerings here.
These are gorgeous! And you’re right, there’s nothing like fall in New England. Enjoy!
