Favorites from Ikea 2021 Catalog

Each year I look forward to the new looks from Ikea. Here are my favorites from the Ikea 2021 Catalog.

The Ikea catalog is here! It usually comes out in the summer, but this year (as with most things in 2020 – it’s delayed) it’s virtual. I grabbed a giant cup of coffee and poured over the catalog to share my favorites with you guys.

So you need to know this is NOT a sponsored post. I enjoy mixing in Ikea elements throughout our home and have written a few posts on that here and here.

If you have your heart set on something at Ikea, I would check the stock before heading to the store. We went in August to get some things for the boys’ new rooms and they’re still out of stock on desks and some other items.

DYTÅG Curtains

Linen curtains have a way of adding warmth and a relaxed elegance to any space. Ikea’s Dytag are a steal at $60 for a pair of long curtains. I was actually eyeing these for our bedroom but they’re out of stock. I have linen curtains from Ikea in many of our other rooms and haven’t tired of them in 7 years.

BOJREP

This metal and glass sconce mixes modern and classic farmhouse style. The glass is hand blown. I could see this in a bedroom, bathroom, or living area. We’re actually thinking of putting it in our oldest son’s bedroom. $30 is such a great price for a hardwired sconce.

STURSK Wall Clock

A classic, but modernized. I love this minimal look for pendulum clock. Perfect for a home office to keep you on track and on time.

GLADELIG Plates and Bowls

This glazed pottery gives the look of hand thrown and adds an organic component to any tablescape. I can picture warm fall stews and chilis or delicious roast dinners and creamy pastas. So pretty for a casual Thanksgiving or Christmas at home.

TUFJORD Bedframe

Plush jewel toned velvet upholstered bed is cozy. I think I’d have a hard time getting out of bed in the morning.

HINDÅS Mirror

Rattan is having a moment. From side tables to beds to shelving to mirrors. This is a nice way to bring that woven texture into a space. I actually love the Hindas mirror and also the Opphem.

NISSAFORS Cart

Ikea carts are iconic just look at the RÅSKOG, which has been popular for many years. This cart is streamlined and grown up. I can see it in a work from home space, a studio, bedroom, or kitchen. A great spot to store all your extras. It would also be a really beautiful styled cocktail bar.

SANDARED Pouffe

Soft and cozy this versatile pouffe comes in three sizes with various covers. It’s great as a foot rest or for extra seating.

OMTÄNKSAM Chair

This chair comes in white, black and yellow. I love the curved back with its nod to mid century style. This curved back is very comfortable but also gives a sculptural quality to the dining room or kitchen.

BULLIG Box

Dress up your billy bookcases or closets with these pretty bamboo boxes. Look how nice records and files look stored in them.

TORARED Pendant Shade

Instantly get that coastal look with this seagrass pendant shade for only $20!

So much to love in the new catalog! What’s your favorite pick? Can’t wait to hear!
