February Vacation Snow Day
We’ve been dreaming and hoping and praying for snow. We got our wish yesterday morning, the first day of the boys’ school vacation. I wanted to share some February vacation snow day photos.
There’s something magical about waking up to a blanket of white snow outside your window. The trees, the roof tops, and plants covered in white flakes.
I know some of you live in very warm places. So thought I’d share these pretty snowy photos with you.
Max and Poppy LOVE the snow. It’s so cute to watch them play in it.
Max’s fur actually looks dirty compared to the snow. Ha! Ha!
Our home is extra magical with the snow falling.
The flakes looks so pretty against the cedar shingles and the blue shutters. 😉
It wasn’t just the dogs who had fun out in the snow…
They made snow angels, a giant snowman, and had an epic snowball fight with friends!
I hope your week is off to a magical start, too!
Beautiful
So glad you enjoyed the post, Nancy xx
OMGosh so beautiful! Such beautiful pics, I can almost feel the snow.
I grew up in Mo and winter was always magical and snow days the best! Now I live in FL.and it’s been a warm Feb. It was low 80s this week!!
It sounds great, but we Floridians do like a bit of cold and the change from the humid heat a few months of the year. 😉
It really was magical yesterday. The snow falling was so pretty and we all loved it. Saying that I think a few more storms and I’ll be envious of your sunny FL location 😉
Lots of snow fun for everyone in your family. Lovely pictures of your house and yard!
It was a fabulous day. Later on we walked the dogs to the harbor and got hot drinks from our favorite coffee shop, The Lucky Finn x
Thank you those were great pictures and your snow is beautiful.
Your house looks like a Christmas card, so beautiful in all that snow. The boys seem to be ecstatic! At this stage of life, I have to tell you, though, I am glad we don’t get that much snow here in Alabama. 😄
So pretty! I live in north Florida and our temperature was a balmy 86 degrees yesterday, so I really enjoyed – vicariously – seeing your winter wonderland!
Lovely pictures of your snow covered home and she shed. Like you mentioned, it truly does look extra magical with the snow falling. Looks like everyone had a fun filled day in the snow. Great photographs, Danielle! Thanks for sharing!
