Festive Tablescape with Pumpkin Lanterns (Cozy Living)
I love adding a little magic to our back deck with a festive tablescape with pumpkin lanterns and fairy lights.
It’s the first Sunday in October which means it’s time for our monthly Cozy Living series hosted by my friend Jennifer over at Town and Country Living. I love this group of girls and love being able to share ways to make your home more cozy and inviting.
Fall is the perfect time to be more cozy. Don’t you think?
The warm, amber light dappling through the trees, a slight chill in the air, and the perfect time to let stews simmer and sip some red wine. Before it gets to cold and snowy here I wanted to share an outdoor idea:
Conor, our 9 year old, and I created these fun polka dot pumpkin lanterns the other day, click here to see how easy it is. I shared them on our front porch for our Halloween entry here.
If you’re not into Halloween, I think you’re gonna love this romantic idea.
You probably already have most of the ingredients at home.
A few pumpkins, some greenery, candles and fairy lights.
I clipped fresh privet greenery from our hedges and placed those along the table. Then I used our large orange pumpkins and white pumpkins in the center.
Then I added punched metal lanterns, candles and fairy lights. It was a little windy while I was taking these photos so my candles kept blowing out. The life of a blogger, right? I was trying to finish the photos before picking John up at his cross country meet.
There’s something so romantic and cozy about candles, pumpkins and weathered wood. Don’t you think?
I have to share my source for string lights on the table. They are from Amazon and love that they battery packs are so tiny. They give off so much light, too. I used them inside the pumpkin lanterns.
I, of course, added some moscow mules. I love these hammered mugs.
I wish I could tell you that I made the apple cider donuts but they were a lucky find at Trader Joe’s :0
This tablescape would be great for Octoberfest or even a Halloween Party.
It looked even prettier as it got darker:
