Finding Silver Pennies in Singapore – SquareRooms Magazine Feature

I have some very exciting news!  Two of my painted pieces – Owen and Talia – were featured this month in SquareRooms Magazine.  The, Singapore based, magazine is filled with ideas for interiors, low cost revamps and kitchen updates.

I received an email from Jasmine Goh asking if they could include a few of my painted pieces in a feature on Furniture Facelifts.  How people could update furniture on a budget.  I was sooooooo excited!  My first magazine feature!

Jasmine included a nice write up on the Talia Wine Table:

The table reminded me of Tuscany and I painted her in Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint in Mustard Seed Yellow.  The full details on this makeover can be seen: here.

The lovely Owen Grainsack dresser was also included in this piece.  Chalk Paint® in Old White and Primer Red really transformed this piece as well as fun knobs and lined drawers.  Full tutorial here.

Well, it is now on newstands….sadly not in the US.  Copies of the magazine are sold in Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, India and Australia.  I’m hoping some family in Oz can do a freak out for me at the local grocery aisle!
