Happy Halloween!
Hi Friends! Happy Friday and Happy Halloween!
We are very excited that TODAY is Halloween. Very excited, indeed. The boys both have Halloween parties at school and, of course, we’ll be trick or treating in the harbor this afternoon, and then around our neighborhood tonight.
I thought I’d share a few photos of our “spooky” decor.
This witch’s hat and sparkly pumpkins sit on our dining table. I’ll be wearing the hat tonight!
Bats are flying out of our mantel!
Cob webs are on our bushes and we have a few gravestones out front.
Conor is a ninja this year complete with a sword and stars. John is a knight in shining armor!
Every year I share photos from the harbor. Front Street is completely closed off and the children of Scituate trick or treat at all the shops and restaurants in the harbor.
Here are a few photos from previous years:
Can you believe how little John is in this one? He is three here:
A cowboy and his chicken.
Bob the Builder & a dragon.
Obi Wan and Darth Vader.
And last year’s costumes, a pirate and Obi Wan (again):
The merchants always do such a wonderful job –
We are so excited for this year. I’ll be sure to share some photos tomorrow so you can see!
Wish you all a very safe and happy Halloween. Oh, and if you’re having a party – try my Witches’ Brew cocktails I shared earlier in the week!
