I Have BIG News
Better Homes & Gardens is coming to my house tomorrow! Yes, you read that right. My hands are shaking in excitement as I type the above. Can you believe it?
I can hardly believe it myself! I honestly feel like I should be typing this about some of my other blogging friends. To have something featured in a magazine was one of my dreams, but to have a feature in the BHG is a pie in the sky dream that I never thought would come true.
I feel like I’m smiling as wide as the little girl in this vintage BHG cover!
I’ve been reading the magazine for years now and have always loved their crafty tips, recipes and the I Did It! section. Well, that is where you’ll find me and my little guys in the April addition.
I was initially contacted by Kit Seltzer, Senior Remodeling and Projects Editor, via email. Last week, Kris Kennedy, a freelance producer & editor, and the stylist for tomorrow came over to see my project and our home.
The issue is my clothes! I guess my wardrobe isn’t camera ready. Ha! Ha! I have so many painting clothes and lots of grey, white and navy blue, but for this I need color. So I got some new, fun tops. Fingers crossed they are good!
So as you drink your coffee and eat your cereal tomorrow morning, think of us, and one of my dreams coming true. I’ll be sure to share all the behind the scenes photos with you as soon as I can.
I’ll also be sharing a fun winter project with you tomorrow along with these lovely ladies as part of our Seasons of Home: Winter Edition.
