Mandarin Orange and Eucalyptus Tablescape
A simple Mandarin Orange and Eucalyptus tablescape that uses affordable elements from the grocery store for a festive celebration.
Earlier in the week, I shared the beautiful new piece of art by Becky O’Toole of The Pink Frame. Isn’t it just stunning?
I went to Trader Joe’s the other day and was so inspired by the things I found, I came home and created a simple tablescape for Christmas.
I shared a behind the scenes look on Insta Stories and this tablescape took me about 5 minutes to put together. I started off with a jute runner from Target. I’ve had it for years and it works for any season and is perfect for our coastal home.
Then I layered in silver dollar eucalyptus. Trader Joe’s is my favorite source for eucalyptus. They have all different varieties and sell it for $2.99 a bunch.
I added a carton of Mandarin oranges that still had the leaves. The carton was $5.99. Don’t they look so festive? Bonus is the kids can snack on them if they want to 😉
The large pine cones (Sugar Pine Cones) were from Fresh Market and I got three for $12.
I love the size of these!
Then I added a bunch of brass candlesticks and tapers from Ikea. The brass candlesticks are a mixture of antique store and yard sale finds. The larger ones my parents got for their wedding and are so heavy!
If you want to recreate this look for a party or for Christmas I recommend doing it the day of or the day before so that the everything looks fresh.
I added some eucalyptus to the Welsh dresser to tie in with the tablescape.
The other greenery is faux.
It’s so festive and easy! I hope this gave you some ideas for your own homes.
