New Art in the Dining Room
Christmas came early for me in the way of new art in the dining room!
Look at this stunningly beautiful original painting by my good friend, Becky O’Toole. You may remember that I interviewed Becky as part of my Creativity Over Coffee series here. I have a few smaller pieces by Becky and her gorgeous landscape notecards, but for quite some time I’ve dreamed of one of her paintings right here.
Guess what?!? My wish came true and just in time for the holidays.
Becky has a way of capturing the beauty of the sea.
I told her I wanted something with a dark sea but she also incorporated the ligher blues I love and was able to pick up the warm browns we have in our home – in the woodwork and our antique pieces.
Look at those fine details and the delicate brush strokes.
I’m actually thinking of changing my seat at the dinner table so I can enjoy this view while I eat.
It looks sooooo perfect in here! Like this piece was meant for this wall.
I played with the tablescape in here and will have a new post up soon for you, but until then I wanted to share this beautiful new piece of art. I feel so blessed for such a beautiful piece of art, but also for a beautiful friend.
Becky’s art makes a beautiful gift at Christmas but also year round. She has paintings in all shapes and sizes and also has beautiful ornaments and cards. On top of that a portion of each sale goes to Dana Farber. Learn more about Becky and The Pink Frame and find retailers here.
