New Framed Art Prints and a Photoshoot in our Back Yard
I’m excited to share about new framed art prints and a fun photoshoot in our backyard.
New Framed Art Prints
Framed art prints are now available in our shop!
Included in the collection are the watercolor seascapes pictured above. When I shared this originally on Instagram, many of you said you were interested in buying framed and unframed prints.
Finally, I’m excited to share they are available in the shop!
Here’s a peek of how the art prints look on the site:
I also have a collection of sunprints which I made and photographed. These would look great above a bed or in a bathroom or a collection hung together on a wall. I could see hanging the two ferns sunprints or two feather sunprints together.
For decades, custom framing has been difficult and expensive. Simply Framed is changing that. They offer a curated selection of gallery-worthy frames at prices that are 50% less than retail frame shops. The best part? You can complete the entire process from home.
We’ve partnered with them to offer high quality custom framing made by hand in the USA. Please allow an additional 2-3 weeks for your delivery. For more information, go to www.simplyframed.com
Each art print is available framed or unframed. I decided to go with the classic Gallery White frame with a 2.5″ matte. The prints are 11 x 14 and the handmade frame is 16.875 x 19.875″. The watercolors are printed on a brilliant Somerset Velvet slightly textured paper while the photographs and sunprints are printed on Moab Lasal Matte professional photograph paper. I was really conscious to make the prints affordable and all prints include shipping.
Backyard Photo Shoot
My friend, and amazingly talented photographer, Kjeld came over to take a few photos of John and I for our shop website.
For those of you who have been following my blog since the beginning – 9 whole years ago this week – you’ll see just how much John has grown up! It was time for some new photos. 😉
He captured us creating art for the shop. John drawing and me painting.
Also, some fun candid ones with the dogs. Aw, Max –
The shoot was relaxed and exciting as it signifies a new phase for me and the blog / shop.
9 years ago when I started this blog, I didn’t think anyone would read it. Well, I knew my mom and Luke would, but I mean anyone else…. So, thank you all at home who have stuck with me over the years and a huge thank you and welcome to new readers! You guys have encouraged me in my photography and watercolor painting. When I started this blog, I’d never picked up a professional camera or a paint brush before. I was a mom with two young boys who needed a creative outlet. Little did I know then, where that creative outlet would take me.
I would be so grateful if you could go check out our new art prints and also share with family and friends!
Original artwork will be available soon – framed and unframed and I’m currently working on my Fall Favorites print. You can see the Summer Favorites here and here.
Looks great!!!!
Thanks, Wendy! So glad you like how everything looks xx
The kids sure do grow up fast!!! Your mother/son pictures are lovely. Your prints are nice too…I just don’t have any room left to put them. Keep up the good work!!!
PS….I still love my pink roses lamp!!!
Thank you, Josette. I really can’t believe how quickly my boys are growing up. John starts high school this year. I totally understand not having room, but thank you for taking a look at them and stopping by. I’m so glad you’re still enjoying your pink rose lamp. xx
