Nutella Cookies

Nutella Cookies

Okay, we are Nutella addicts in our house.  The kids love Nutella on bread for brekkie and I’ve been known to make Nutella hot chocolate.  I wrote a post about it during the winter.  If you want the recipe, click here.  Once, you try Nutella hot chocolate you won’t be going back to Swiss Miss.  But it being summer and 90-something degrees where we are you may want to save that recipe for the winter.

The other night, I was pinning and came across a Nutella cookie recipe that only had 4 ingredients.  Yes, 4 ingredients and I happened to have all 4 in the house!  So the next morning we made these lovely little cookies.  Bonus, they were ready in 7 minutes!

Here are the four ingredients:

Nutella, egg, sugar and flour

Ingredients
1 cup Nutella
½ cups Sugar
1 cup All-purpose Flour
1 whole Egg
Preparation Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Blend all ingredients together well.  We started mixing with a spoon:
But found using our hands was better:
Form into 1″ balls. Place on a cookie sheet. Press down firmly with the bottom of a glass. Bake 7-8 minutes or until set. Cool.

John and Conor loved making the balls and John flattened them.  They both loved eating them and there were even some left for daddy to try!  The recipe said it makes 24 cookies, but our batch only made 14 (perhaps we have a heavy hand!).
