Summer Inspired Stationery

Happy Summer, friends! This is going to be a very short post today. I’m excited to share that this morning I’m launching our summer inspired stationery in our online shop.

Here in Scituate – our little town and beaches sparkle during the summer months. This simple summer time – lazy days at the beach, impromptu barbecues, long walks with our dogs, carefree moments with our boys. It all really is magical and it’s what keeps me going during the cold long winters.

Magical summer days is what inspired this little collection. I’m really very excited to share with you! Shop the collection in our online shop (we offer free local delivery, free shipping on orders over $50 and we donate a portion of every sale to the World Wildlife Fund).

Summer Inspired Stationery

One of my favorite things to do in summer is go to the beach. I, of course, had to paint a classic beach chair in my favorite blue and white stripes.

Seagulls are fun to watch on the beach as long as they’re not stealing your lunch. My cheeky seagull is available as a note card and a notepad. I woke up early one morning and painted him out on the back patio. You can see a peek of creating him here. That little seagull is inspired by one we saw in St. Ives who tried to steal my pasty lunch!

Beach Inspired Note Cards

The collection includes the beach chair and seagull note cards (available in sets and and singles).

Summer Notepads

I’m a list maker and note taker (even in summer). I thought you might be, too. So the new collection includes new notepads and list pads, each pad is 50 pages and has an illustration on each page. See all note and list pads.

The list pads come with special check boxes so you can be extra organized! Pictured below is the crab list pad.

Behind the Scenes

A lot goes into creating my stationery and maybe one day I’ll share more about the whole process, but it’s a lot of painting and repainting, scanning, editing the background out, and getting files ready for the printer. Then my amazing printer – TPI Solutions Ink – checks the files and prints on lovely paper, folds, and packages my cards and notepads. Carrie and her team are amazing! This woman-owned business is based in Massachusetts and has been in business for 60 years.

Watch a video of the new and some old favorites being printed and packaged and TPI.
