The Montauk Pillow Collection (my new favorite pillows)

I’m so excited to share my new favorite pillows – the Montauk Pillow Collection by City Farmhouse and Co.

This post is more than just about pillows (although, I do love pillows). It’s about courage. It’s about creativity. It’s about friendship. It’s about love. Do you guys know Jen from City Farmhouse?

I’ve been friends with Jen for years now. I remember discovering her blog one Saturday morning and we wrote back and forth via email. Fast forward a few years and we met in Atlanta and Boston at various conferences and events. Jen is such a warm and kind person. I felt this instant connection with her in our initial online meetings but even more so in person. We both are beach lovers, have two boys, and love dogs. We also love all things coastal. One other commonality is that we both had very close relationships with our dads. Both of our dads have passed away now and Jen was there for me when my dad passed away. Losing someone you’re so very close to is so painful but also makes you question your purpose and also has a way of refocusing your attention. I still very much am searching for my purpose and my “gifts”, but Jen has used this period to harness her creativity and launch a brand new company!!! I’m so honored to share Jen’s brand new company which is launching TODAY! Every design is hand drawn by Jen and inspired by simple and classic coastal look. The Montauk Collection is named after a small beach community in Long Island which holds special summer childhood memories with Jen’s dad. Remember I was having a hard time finding blue and white pillows I LOVED?!? Well, I found tons in Jen’s new collection. Here are two in our living room:

Jen sent me these two beautiful linen covers.

These look so nice with our new lamp.

If you look closely you might spy Max (in his favorite spot).

They look so perfect paired with our white slipcovered sofa.

I selected the Bayberry in Indigo 20″. I’m so drawn to that pretty deep blue.

I also chose the Emerson in Chambray (also 20″).

Another aspect of Jen’s linen covers that I love is they are eco-friendly. They are digitally printed using biodegradable water based inks and are non toxic to both adults and children. No waste or pollution was created in printing these pillows. On top of that, 5% of every sale goes to Girls Inc.

I brought them into the playroom so you could also see them against a leather couch.

I love them in both rooms, but am keeping them in the living room for now. I think I’ll order some more for the playroom. Conor, my youngest, also loves pillows and snuggly things.

I bought the inserts on Amazon and absolutely love the quality. They are feather and I went with a 22″ insert as I love pillows to be very full and plush. Click here to order inserts (affiliate link).
