Watercolor Crow Free Printable
We love Halloween at our house and I’m excited to share a little watercolor crow free printable I created just for you!
Here he is:
It’s been a little while since I shared a free printable here on the blog so thought it would be a fun treat. I’m going to keep this post brief but wanted to share a little painting I completed the other day.
More Crow Ideas for Halloween & the Home!
I’ve always, always loved Halloween. When I was little my mom would make a big deal making my costume and I used to get mad that I’d have to wear a bulky winter coat and cover my costume. My boys also love Halloween. They just decorated the exterior of the house over the weekend and have enjoyed coming up with costumes and craft projects over the years. If you’re in need of some inspiration I’ll leave a few links below.
This Crow Costume was so much fun and pretty affordable to make:

More About this Painting
I’m fascinated by crows. They are super intelligent and never forget. They also have the ability to mimic other birds calls.
I created this crow using only four colors (Indigo, Payne’s Gray, Winsor Violet and white gouache), I also added some salt to create a really cool texture to the feathers. This free flow watercolor was so relaxing to create.
I actually painted the eye slightly in the wrong spot and then moved it. Aw, the magic of paint! You can see a little video of painting him here.
