Watercolor Honey Crisp Apple (Free Printable)
I pulled my paints out and created this fun watercolor honey crisp apple (free printable).
Each season my friend, Kristen, over at the Ella Claire organizes a fun free printable hop. I’m so delighted to be taking part today.
I create a watercolor apple.
The colors are so soft and dreamy.
Each year we take our boys apple picking and we’ll be going this weekend. I’m so excited! It’s so fun out in the orchard and bringing a peck of apples home is fun too. We bake muffins, apple crumble, make fresh apple sauce and also use the apples in stew.
Apples are also great to decorate with. They completely inspired my watercolor painting but also inspired this tablescape.
It was pretty simple and took me maybe 10 minutes to put it together. I found those amazing brass candlesticks at the thrift store for $2 a pair. I bought three sets and also the sweet little vase.
The runner is actually two tea towels I found at Ikea. I thought they had a great farmhouse look.
I scattered the table with fresh eucalyptus and greenery and the pretty hydgrangeas were from my friend, Jann’s garden. I’m eager to grow some of these pretty limelight hydrangeas. I love the pale pink they turn in fall.
I added some mini pumpkins and apples to the welsh dresser.
I’m offering two versions for the free printable, plain or one with “pick your own apples”. Click here to get your free printable.
These printables are for your own personal use. I’m happy for you to share them with family and friends but please don’t sell them.
I’ve also added this to my Society6 shop (affiliate link) so if you’d like this apple as a pillow or tote or mug, you can find it here.

Danielle your tablescape is amazing! You just keep getting better and better with the beautiful inspiration!
Danielle – your dining room is just gorgeous!! I love all the changes you’ve made in the space. Your new hutch and table are the perfect touch. Love that you’re doing more watercolor painting. The apple is adorable. So beautiful, my friend!
Thank you so much for this! I love it so much!
Apples are one of my very favorite things about Fall and I love your sweet apple painting!
Thank you so much for sharing another of your wonderful watercolors. They are all delightful and graciously admired. Seeing your apple reminded me of going up to Julian, CA every Fall to browse thru antique stores, walk around town, have a meal at the Wrongbranch Café. In winter went up there to play in the snow. Was only about 90 minute drive so was quite pleasant ride. There was an old fashioned drug store with soda fountain and seats. Some things I do miss from CA., we loved in San Diego areas for 21 yrs. before moving to MT., our… Read more »
This printable is just beautiful! Hoping to go apple picking with our boys this fall!
They’re beautiful. And I love your hutch so thoughtfully curated and decorated. It is so warm and and pretty!
I always look forward to seeing what printables you create, Danielle. You’re such a talented artist and the table you put together looks so festive for fall!
When we lived in San Diego area/east county we always went up to Julian every year for their wonderful apple festival. Julian is an old fashioned small town with a few antique shops, an old fashioned drug store with a soda fountain and a restaurant called the Wrong Branch. Julian was also a great favored place to go sledding in winter. the Wrong Branch was usually full on weekends during the winter along with the antique shops.. I noticed your gorgeous Chesterfield sofa, looks brand new. Can remember when you posted about finding it, looks like you still love it.… Read more »
